For this case, D&M group were approached by a client in Hove and were tasked with the installation of bespoke Daikin VRV systems within the new call centre. As per our usual routine we met with the client to discuss their specific needs and review the project site. However, we like to note that this project was not your average Air Conditioning Installation; due to the new Mezz floor, the ceiling heights were too low for cassettes or ducted type FCU’s, which proved to be a potential challenge for this project. However, as our staff are no strangers to challenges we were able to approach this potential issue with systematic efficiency. Therefore, in order to rectify this, the decision was made by our professional design team to use floor standing units. Likewise, in order to further overcome the issue of locating the individual BS boxes, our talented D&M Group staff designed and manufactured bespoke externally heated waterproof boxes that were approved by the manufacturer, which our engineers mounted on channel arms at the rear of the building. Thus, despite the many potential issues caused by the layout of the site itself, all of our staff at D&M Group worked meticulously to rectify these issues and provide the most ideal solutions for our client. Needless to say our client was very pleased with the successful and efficient outcome of this project, and even with the issues that presented themselves the professional nature of our manner of work ensured that these issues were of no hindrance to the outlined 18 week program of the entire project, as at D&M Group we pride ourselves in our ability to provide customer satisfaction consistently throughout our work.
